sometimes: adverb, now and then.
sometimes i am refreshingly written and sometimes i am nothing. sometimes i slide articulated words off of my tongue to seduce you and sometimes i choke on my own definitions. sometimes i fall and sometimes i dream of dandelion wings. sometimes i drown in my own self-pity and sometimes i experience immeasurable happiness. sometimes i walk away with your heart clenched between my fists, and sometimes i am content inside of your embrace. sometimes i hate you and sometimes i love you.
sometimes,
at intervals, at times, frequently, occasionally, periodically, recurrently.
sometimes is a this word that strips me of any responsibility to stick to what i say. it averts accountability and places everything on a ... passing thought. nothing has to be concrete, nothing has to be a promise, nothing has to remain. anything established on "sometimes" can be easily taken away and i love it for its transience.
