making it on my own
i had my wisdom teeth taken out yesterday. and i just have to say, that the entire procedure was incredibly torturous.
i was put to sleep for the actual operation, but it was very unnerving to say the least. see. the nurse came in the second i sat in that huge brown chair with only the words of "okay, we're gonna start with a little nitrogen." putting the mask on my face. and that was that. i’m the type of girl that needs preparing; a little reassurance would be beneficial.
once she put the mask on, ... , well, it's becoming very hazy each time i try to explain it. but there was a lot of dizziness. voices talking about a man kissing another woman, which i haven’t figured out if that was the conversation between the doctor and the nurse yet. ringing in my ears. and then, a deep throbbing pain. followed by excruciating pinching i think. that just continued to increase. and bang - i was awake.most likely, these harsh reactions to the gas was only my brain going into shock because i have never been put to sleep before like that. not to mention that i was very tense. and although painful, only lasted a few seonds. and today, the numbness is gone unfortunately. but there's some blood and very swollen. and a lot of vomitting.
i've been in a knot, so to speak, lately. i can't really go into details. but let me just say that hopefully we will follow a less destructive path this time around.
