you bleed just to know you're alive
i am officially on the cortland newspaper. (the dragon chronicle.) diana & i went to watch the field hockey game, i took photo's and she wrote up the story. we make an awesome team, eh room-y? 3-0 cortland vs. oneonta.
"full-blown makeout session, RIGHT HERE, RIGHT NOW!" - jess
"can you kiss me?" - diana :)
i have the best roommate's!
so, lately, i have been sick. coughing and nausea, never a good combination.
[ how the hell did we wind up like this / why weren't we able / to see the signs that we missed / and try to turn the tables / i wish you'd unclench your fists ... / lately there's been too much of this / i dont think its too late ]
& on top of that, i am so confused as to how i am supposed to be reacting to the recent events ... (am i supposed to just pretend it never happened. pretend he never happened. desidero. forse poi il mio cuore rammenderebbe.)
[ well i'd hope that since we're here anyway / that we could end up saying / things we've always needed to say / so we could end up staying / now the story's played out like this / just like a paperback novel / let's rewrite an ending that fits / instead of a hollywood horror. ]
i guess it just seems like i don't have the time, or the patience, to waste if it is only going to crumble in the end. should i have faith, or should i retreat back into myself. don't worry, i can do both.
[ never seem to get in the place that i belong / i don't want to lose the time - lose the time to come / whatever you say it's alright / whatever you do it's all good / whatever you say it's alright ]
(& don't worry babe, i could never hate you, even if i tried.)
