you're the best time i ever ever had

[let that city take you in. let that city spit you out. let that city take you down.]

so. i went home for the weekend. diana came with me. :) we left cortland (oh yeah!) friday afternoon just in time for northern lights to see katie and her boyfriend’s band in the battle of the bands.

northern lights:
- four bad bands
- one amazing(!!!) band
- one horrible band (the sound of several crows-rooster-animals that hawk come to mind)
- one oh-so-cute boy

they didn’t win, but the cute boy was worth the four hours of loud torturous metal noise. when i woke up saturday morning, i was expecting some impaired hearing ... my ears still hurt.

[if it's just that you're weak, can we talk about it?]

i was reminded (multiple times) that i am a crazy driver. i prefer the terms “reckless with caution”. lunch at applebees – katie and diana got along wonderfully and i was impressed. i am now looking into doing a internship with katie at disneyworld. :) but, what is it with guys that are anti-relationships? you’re going to have to get over that eventually. (i’m kind of disappointed.)

saratoga = fast break into barnes and nobles. ice cream at friendley’s. another fast break into panera’s to pee – running into bill. (c-u-t-e)

[if i couldn't sleep could you sleep. could you paint me better off. could you sympathize with my needs. i know you think i need a lot. i started out clean but i'm jaded, just phoning it in, just breaking the skin. start bending me , it's never enough. i feel all your pieces. start bending me, keep bending me until i'm completely broken in.]

this weekend’s theme was memory. all around me. torn down. dd. torn down. queensbury playground. torn down. (queensbury district- person/or people who make these decisions, i hate you.)

matchbox twenty, if you haven’t noticed, was the music theme of the car rides.

[so why you gotta stand there looking like the answer now ...]

i thought that every little trace of him had vanished from my system. i was wrong.

[tell me how does it feel now. too late. too much to forget about. can't stop now. tell me how does it feel now.]

alot of reminiscing. alot of venting. alot of much-needed talk. alot of things i needed to get out and now i feel okay.

lets just say i don't want to be back here at cortland. i just want to be out of here for good. (there's only a few things i will miss.)
